FM OLEO
FM Oleo is FirstMolecule’s specialized family of activated carbons developed for treating edible, industrial, and transformer oils. Each grade is optimized for a balance of adsorption kinetics, pore size distribution, and stability, ensuring removal of pigments, odors, and oxidation precursors while maintaining product quality.
FM Oleo is a specially formulated group of activated carbons tailored to purify oils—ranging from edible oils to industrial hydraulic and transformer oils—ensuring superior color removal, odor control, oxidative stability, and dielectric recovery.
Oil Treatment FM OLEO is a high-purity Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) meticulously crafted for the purification and refining of vegetable and animal oils. Used in the decolorization and deodorization process, FM OLEO selectively adsorbs impurities such as pigments, free fatty acids (FFA), trace metals, and other unwanted compounds that can negatively impact the final product’s color, taste, and stability. Its fine particle size and high porosity provide rapid adsorption kinetics, ensuring a quick and efficient batch process.
Manufactured to strict food-grade standards, FM OLEO helps achieve a lighter, clearer, and more stable oil without altering its fundamental chemical composition, meeting the highest quality requirements for edible and industrial applications.
Technical Evaluation & Competitive Advantage
Selective Adsorption: FM OLEO’s unique pore structure is engineered to specifically target and adsorb large color-causing molecules and other impurities while minimizing the loss of desirable compounds. This selectivity leads to higher yield and a purer final product.
High Molasses Decolorization Index: This metric indicates the ability of the carbon to remove large organic molecules. FM OLEO’s superior index ensures powerful and efficient decolorization, which is a key performance indicator in oil refining.
Consistency & Purity: Every batch is tested for consistent performance and low ash content, ensuring that your refining process is predictable and your end product remains free of unwanted impurities.
