Gold Recovery Carbon
Gold Recovery Carbon is a specialized grade of activated carbon engineered for maximum adsorption of gold-cyanide complexes in Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) and Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) processes. Manufactured from high-density coconut shell carbon, it delivers exceptional hardness, large surface area, and a highly developed pore structure essential for efficient gold loading and long operational life in aggressive extraction environments.
This carbon is designed to minimize attrition, reduce gold loss, and ensure superior recovery rates in mining operations.
High Surface Area: Ensures rapid adsorption of gold-cyanide ions.
Macroporous Structure: Allows efficient diffusion through slurry and pulp.
Superior Hardness: Minimizes carbon fines and loss during agitation.
High Density & Strength: Ideal for continuous CIL/CIP tank conditions.
Thermally Regenerable: Suitable for repeated use with consistent performance.
Adsorbs dissolved gold directly during leaching
High adsorption rate for maximum gold recovery
Extracts gold from cyanide pulp after leaching
Maintains efficiency even under high agitation
Used in heap leach and carbon column operations
Purification and recovery of fine gold solutions
Iodine Value: 900–1100 mg/g
Hardness: 97–99% (coconut shell based)
Mesh Sizes: 6×12, 8×16, 12×40
Bulk Density: 480–520 kg/m³
Attrition Loss: Extremely low, suitable for heavy-duty agitation
