Pelletized / Extruded Activated Carbon (EAC)
Pelletized or Extruded Activated Carbon (EAC) is a cylindrical, uniformly shaped activated carbon designed for high-performance adsorption in air and gas purification systems. Manufactured from selected coal, coconut shell, or wood, EAC offers excellent mechanical strength, low pressure drop, and high surface area—making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.
EAC’s uniform pellet structure ensures efficient airflow, longer bed life, and superior adsorption of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), acidic gases, odors, and hazardous pollutants.
Uniform Cylindrical Pellets: Typically 1–4 mm diameter for optimal flow.
High Mechanical Strength: Withstands abrasion and high-pressure gas streams.
Low Dust Content: Prevents blockages and keeps systems clean.
High Adsorption Capacity: Effective for VOCs, chemical vapors, and industrial emissions.
Low Pressure Drop: Ideal for continuous airflow and gas filtration units.
Optional Impregnation: For H₂S, SO₂, NH₃, mercury, and specialty applications.
